Snowfall Street Parking Restrictions apply for all on-street parking when there is snowfall of at least 2" in the Town of Cornwall and 2.5" or more in the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson. Visit the hyperlinks to review these local vehicle removal ordinances during snowfall.
Cornwall Town Hall Snowfall parking available - ONLY IF YOU REGISTER your vehicle with Cornwall Police (845) 534-8100. Parking is the front lot of 183 Main Street, please use parking spaces closest to Main Street by electric vehicle charging stations to permit plowing of Town Hall grounds during the storm.
REGISTER YOUR VEHICLE with Chief of Police, Joseph Gebert by emailing jgebert@cornwallny.gov.
Please include the following information: Your Name, Vehicle Information (License Plate with State of Registration, Make, Model, Color), Your Best Contact Number(s). Please clean off you vehicle and remove from Town Hall as soon as possible after the storm. Police may call you from a Caller ID Blocked number to ask you to remove your vehicle for plowing.
Vehicles in violation of the snowfall parking restrictions are subject to issuance of a violation with penalty of fine, towing fees and impound storage lot fees.
