There are two designated Warming Centers for the Greater Cornwall Community.  If you are in Crisis, Dial 3-1-1 for guidance and resources in Orange County.

Primary Warming Center

Cornwall Public Library is the Primary Warming Center during normal business hours.

Monday-Friday 9A-8P; Friday 9A-6P; Saturday 9A-4P; Sunday 1P-4P

Secondary Warming Center

Munger Cottage Senior Center is the Secondary Warming Center open by activation only.

Munger Cottage Senior Center is located at 40 Munger Drive, Cornwall, New York 12518.

Activation of the Secondary Warming Center will be established if there is a need in the community.  Activation can be requested through the Cornwall Office of Emergency Management by calling 845-534-8100 or at the direction of the Town Supervisor or Village Mayor, Emergency Services and the Public.

The Warming Center is not a shelter.  Both the Primary and Secondary Warming Centers are fully accessible and supported by automatic standby generator power to support a safe environment with bathrooms for public use.  Service Animals are permitted, no pets.  You should bring comfort items with you such as snacks and water.  Outlets are available for device charging and there is Public WiFi access.
